As of December 30, 2019, CTT provides the users of eSignCloud Service with self-service kiosk, a more convenient way of applying for renewal of their electronic certificates.
The service currently available at the self-service kiosk is the renewal of Personal Normalized Certificate for the eSignCloud Service. Users of eSignCloud Service can use the self-service kiosk to apply for a certificate renewal if he/she has received a renewal notice or his/her electronic certificate is expiring within one month.
The renewal procedure is simple. User needs to verify his/her identity by using the Macao ID card, electronically sign the application form and pay the renewal fee.
In the first phase, the self-service kiosk for applying electronic certificate renewal is located at the Fai Chi Kei post office branch (Address: Rua Sul do Patane, Habitação Social de Fai Chi Kei – Edifício Fai Tat R/C – A ).
eSignCloud Service is based on Normalized Certiticate, which creates the Advanced Electronic Signature, and the certificate is valid for 3 years. Users of eSignCloud Service must apply for renewal prior to the expiration of their certificates or the certifcates will lose the legal effects.
