The purpose of this Pack is to enable the creation of Qualified Electronic Signature (QES) in accordance with the Electronic Documents and Signatures Law of Macao SAR (EDS Law no. 5/2005) and others international standards, using a Qualified Certificate (QC) and a Secure Signature-Creation Device (SSCD).
According to the Law, an Electronic Document signed with a Qualified Electronic Signature (QES) is equivalent to a notarized hand-written signature with full evidentiary power in term of legal effectiveness.

Encipherment Private Key Recovery Service - This optional service provided for a nominal fee, will enable the holder of an eSignTrust Encipherment Certificate to securely recover his/her private encryption key in the event of loss or misplacement of the key. |
